  • Paint: Cream slip 10YR 8/3. red-brown on plaque behind lotus, right hand stripe on top volute band and volute depression, outline of flanking volute and lotus calyx, outline lotus leaf, meander top band and hanging hooks 10R 4/4-3/4. black left hand band on top volute, hair, volute eyes, bottom meander line and upright hooks 5YR 3/1. Above ridges bottom two-thirds plaque and tile painted gold-brown 5YR 5/6.
  • Condition: Fairly well-preserved but missing palmette across top and left corner of base.
