Remarks: Fragment preserves top of Gorgon head in relief, with flat section of hair across top, with scalloped edge, above face with large, almond-shaped eyes, triangular nose, and tall, flat ears (H 4.4) at side of head. Plaque projects above cover tile 2.5 cm, and overhangs below. From 7th stratum below Niger Lapis
