  • Remarks: Fragment of lateral acroterion of female hippocamp. Large thick fragment of body(?) with flat surface with wavy edge painted with wide black band and inner wavy brown band. To right of wavy edge beginning of fin with broad concave channels set obliquely upward, painted cream with alternating black or red outlining bands. W fin 4.7. W black band at wavy edge 1.5. W black band on fin 1. Back very lumpy and thick with finished channel at back of fin separating wing from body. Th fin 3.7. Wavy bands equal to hair strands. Originally attached to front of raking sima at corner.
