- Remarks: Large low, semicylindrical tile with raised edges at both ends, no openings for cover tiles on the sides. Tile tapers in size at one end (H opening 7.5/8.2, W 23/22.2), to fit under lip of next tile. Rough red clay normally characteristic of earliest tiles at Cerveteri & Satricum (7th century): reused on third-phase building.
