CAVI Inscriptions: Nonsense: between the warrior at left and the left contestant: σταοσε̣,
retr.{1}. Between the contestants' helmets: στχc^p{1}.
CAVI Footnotes: {1} so the text in CVA. In the first inscription the first sigma is given as
reversed three-stroke sigma, the second as regular three-stroke. In the second
inscription, sigma is regular three stroke, chi is upright; the fourth letter is
given as a Roman C (it is probably an omicron), and the last letter as a Roman
P; a spear intervenes before the last letter.
