CAVI Lemma: Fr. of Panathenaic prize amphora. From Athens. Unattributed. Second quarter
sixth (?). Ca. 560.
CAVI Subject: B: heads of three runners.
CAVI Inscriptions: B: above second and third runner: ανδ̣[ρον]{2}.
CAVI Footnotes: {1} not in Brandt. {2} probably complete, as there is a vacat fore, and Halle
560 preserves the end of [--αν]δρον. But ανδρον νικε is also possible, cf.
Munich 1451 (Brandt 4/26).
CAVI Comments: In Dev. Beazley says that vase is contemporary with Halle 560 (ABV 120),
related to Lydos, which has the same inscription.
CAVI Number: 1006
