CAVI Subject: Woman with lyre.
CAVI Inscriptions: On her himation, in BG: Δορις or Δο̃ρις or Δορι'ς. To right of the woman's
mouth: four imitation letters, the last two ος, hence perhaps: κ[α]λος.
CAVI Comments: Most of the Cartellino Painter's lekythoi are from Eretria. Probably not the
name of a hetaera (Δωρι'ς), but the famous vase painter Δουρις. The tailed rho
as in Athens, N.M. 1305. Dotted delta.
