CAVI Lemma: Fragmentary BF/RF eye cup. Epiktetos. Last quarter sixth.
CAVI Subject: Int.: BF: warrior with his shield. Ext.: between the eyes: jumper.
CAVI Inscriptions: Int.: starting to right of the foot, curving upward to end above the shield:
εποιε[σ]ε̣{1}.
CAVI Footnotes: {1} so Beazley in CF: complete, rather than εποιε[σε]ν̣. But I did not see
the final epsilon.
CAVI Comments: = Florence 151,655. The lettering is very irregular if Beazley's reading is
right; CVA does not show or print the final letter. From a photo in Esposito and
Tommaso, I would say that the best reading is εποιε, complete. There was no
proper name.
