(Beazley). I saw more letters, but did not think I saw all: [Nικ]ο[σ]θενε[ς ---
εποι]ε[σ]εν. The inscription is in groups of 1 or two letters between the
leaves.
CAVI Comments: Ex Cervetri. Johnston (1979), 124/16 may be this vase (see p. 125, but there
is a misprint there and the description is not quite the same); if so, add:
under the foot, Dip.: ligature ΕΡ [[lig.]].
