  • Remarks: Fragment of columen/mutulus plaques showing Amazonomachy. Fragment preserves small head of warrior with crested helmet to left. Right side unfinished, therefore 3/4 view. Hollow. H face helmet edge - beard tip 6.3. Holes in ear, 2 on top of head between crest and horn 0.6, and 3 on top of crest, D 1-3 cm. H crest 6.4, Th 1.8. Top of crest and top edge painted red, H 1.2, below which checkerboard with upper row of black/white/black squares and lower of white/red/white with black line at bottom, above red meander with 2nd black line below. Helmet brown with bovine ear and thick front edge painted dark brown/black with knobby surface, ending in forward-curving horns at top of cheekpieces. Black lines outlining edges of cheekpieces, beveled edge, background and edge of crest. Painted spiral palmette at back near crest bottom. Hair below helmet forms black mass.
