CAVI Lemma: RF aryballos. From Eretria. Imitation of Onesimos (P). Early fifth.
CAVI Subject: Three times(1), a youth and a boy; athlete. At the bottom: a youth with a
cock.
CAVI Inscriptions: Between the the backs of the fourth and fifth figures: Πανα[ι]τιος. Above the
sixth and seventh: Πα[ν]α[ι]τ[ι]ος. Above the head of the first youth: καλος{2}.
CAVI Footnotes: {1} so my notes; Beazley has only two pairs. {2} I connected the καλος with
the second Παναιτιος, and so apparently does Beazley, whose readings in ARV[2]
are however not quite accurate (in BSA even less so).
CAVI Comments: The writing is in largish letters and resembles the Panaitios Painter's.
CAVI Number: 2659
