  • CAVI Collection: Chicago, University.

  • CAVI Inscriptions: Above the scene, in a reserved band, in BG: [hο δεινα ανεθεκεν τ]α̣θεναι : καλος Μ̣[---]{1}.
  • CAVI Comments: I suspect there are two inscriptions here, a dedication and a kalos-inscription. - {1} Johnson thinks this an unusual combination of a dedication and a kalos-inscription; the last letter (which has been erased) may be a gamma or more likely mu or nu, in which case compare the Megakles/Glaukytes plaque [Acr. 1037, ARV[2] 1598/5]; Megakles might fit here too.
  • CAVI Number: 3147
  • AVI Bibliography: Johnson (1943), 401/22, fig. 22.
  • CAVI / AVI Data from Henry Immerwahr's Corpus of Attic Vase Inscriptions (CAVI), updated by Rudoph Wachter's Attic Vase Inscriptions (AVI)
