CAVI Lemma: Fr. of BF plaque. Unattributed. Late sixth.
CAVI Subject: The top of the plaque is preserved; below, warriors.
CAVI Inscriptions: Above the scene, in a reserved band, in BG: [hο δεινα ανεθεκεν τ]α̣θεναι :
καλος Μ̣[---]{1}.
CAVI Comments: I suspect there are two inscriptions here, a dedication and a
kalos-inscription. - {1} Johnson thinks this an unusual combination of a
dedication and a kalos-inscription; the last letter (which has been erased) may
be a gamma or more likely mu or nu, in which case compare the Megakles/Glaukytes
plaque [Acr. 1037, ARV[2] 1598/5]; Megakles might fit here too.
