ON THE CENTRAL ACROTERION STOOD A STATUE OF LUCIUS CASEAR, SON OF GERMANICUS AND GRANDSON OF AUGUSTUS. HE RECEIVED THE TITLE OF CAESAR A.D.12, AND DIED THE FOLLOWING YEAR."
