  • CAVI Footnotes: {1} CVA, text. Bothmer read a mu and has the inscription retr. {2} the name is listed in Pape from an inscription. Hence Αρετω is perhaps better than Αρητω, cf. Αρητη.
  • CAVI Comments: = GR 24.1864. The inscriptions are in red as are those on Tarquinia RC 5564 [ABV 84/1, by the same painter], see Beazley–Payne (1929), 262 (Bothmer). CVA states that Pantariste and Ainippe occur on a [Tyrrhenian neck] amphora in Boston [98.916, by the Timiades Painter] [[2664]]. Closed heta (vidi).
