Remarks: Flat pan tile with raised side edges, recessed at lower end where also undercut to overlap next lower tile on slope. At upper end, on inside of raised side edges, are small projections (tile stoppers) against which edge of next upper tile rested. Tiles were numbered before firing on upper surface or on raised side edges, 13 in both places indicating row & place in row: CIE 8081-8162, 8549-8562
