CAVI Comments: Uncertain whether this is the same Alkmeon as the kalos of the Brygos and
Berlin Painters, ARV[2] 1563/1,2 and Hesp. 49 (1980) 307-8, on vases which are
of the very early fifth century. On Alkmeon see Πρακτικα του Η' Διεθνους
Συνεδριου Ελληνικης και Λατινικης Επιγραφικης Β' (1987) 283-85 (but this and the
other occurrence of uncertain identification in ARV[2] are not mentioned there:
they are about 20 years later).
