Remarks: Fragment of pedimental sculpture preserving head of Silen at one-third life size. Deeply wrinkled forehead and deeply set eyes with incised irises and pupils. H face + beard 10.7. Diam neck 5. Hollow, handmade. Equal in scale to Minerva head (Database 4524) but of different fabric.
