CAVI Subject: A: warrior and woman at altar. B: man.
CAVI Inscriptions: Under foot, Grr.: ΟN and alpha with vertical cross bar.
CAVI Comments: Johnston in Johnston (1979), 226, under no. 10F, says that ΟN (less likely
NΟ) is an adjective standing alone or with vase names; it occurs in price
inscriptions. Johnston suggests ωνιος or ωνητος: `for sale.' The alpha is
presumably a numeral. The Walters vase is not in Johnston (1979).
CAVI Number: 1949
