CAVI Subject: A: Athena; shield device: pentagram. B: foot race: four runners to right.
CAVI Inscriptions: A: to right of the left column: τον Α̣[---]{2}.
CAVI Footnotes: {1} my note says F 150, but I have corrected it. {2} so the facs., but the
photo shows only the bottom of the left-hand bar of the alpha (if that is what
it is).
CAVI Comments: Frel (see CVA) pointed out that the pentagram appears also on an unpublished
Panathenaic fr. from the Acropolis. He attributes both MF 150 and MF 151 to the
same painter and the same potter. Both belong to the group that includes Louvre
F 273, 274, 278, 280, Toronto 915.25, Berlin 1831, London B 136 and the
uninscribed London B 135.
