CAVI Inscriptions: Nonsense: to right of one face: νοε. Similarly for the other: οκτσ. Between
the horses' legs: ευο(.)με{1}. To right of the last: καλε. On the horses' right:
τιυενανεοσ.
CAVI Footnotes: {1} the bracketed letter somewhat resembles a disjointed Ionic gamma. Is this
intended for a proper name?
CAVI Comments: = a lost olpe mentioned in ABV 667? This note is based on the identification
of the vases mentioned in my note from the tracing, ABV and Add.[2]. Bothmer
compares New York 06.1021.47, which has similar inscriptions including however
the name Ευφιλετος.
CAVI Number: 7511
