H central leaf including border 7, W horizontal band 11.6, H band 1, W base 17.2. Curved cover tile attached to bottom of plaque with black brown paint around circumference, H 13.5, W 17, Th 1.8. Bottom of plaque beveled inside cover tile. Back of plaque flat and smooth. Piece bought from P. Arndt.

Paint: Buff slip over surface, over which red paint is applied 10YR 6/3. No black. Purple-red: outlines of tongues, diagonal bands on rounded moulding, edges of flat band and volute, dot on volute eye, background around palmette, outlines on leaves, outer arc, XXs on central arc, heart, edges of horizontal band and volute eyes, 3-leaf palmette in interstices on base at inner corners of volutes, across base pattern of vertical zigzags between 2 horizontal stripes 5R 3/4.
Condition: Complete example except for chips from edges and missing cover tile.
