- Remarks: Ridge acroterion of rider. Face mouldmade, body and head handmade. Clay at chest has black core. Hollow. Th body at base 1.1. Th horse 1.2. Gaultier 1990, p. 275: Together with horse could reach total H 50 cm and find its place on a kalypter -- only a hypothesis but horse legs found in Tuscania Ara del Tufo excavation and hoofs on base of similar proportions. On p. 271, said to have come from Ardea, originally thought to represent centaur. All proveniences are unsubstantiated in Louvre, except for recent attributions to Tuscania.
