Comparanda: Revetment plaques from Comitium & Regia III
Remarks: Fragment of relief plaque with feline in profile to left, preserving neck, forequarters, left foreleg, torso, paw of hindleg, painted white with brown circles with dot centers & interior lines for musculature & details. Recessed channel at neck break indicates that missing head was frontal. Red-brown ground, narrow fillet along bottom as groundline, above bottom raised border. From excavations in area of Temple of Castor & Pollux but probably originally belonging to Regia III
