- Remarks: Revetment plaque with painted bird. Obliquely cut plaque, complete in width, but not at its maximum distance, and with complete maximum height. Upper, right edges finished. One nail hole, Diam 0.8-0.9. An unsuccessful attempt to make a second nail hole visible, Diam 0.3. Painted decoration: All edges are bordered by a white line. Main motif is a cock, facing left. Body and head contoured in white and filled with white dots. Tail fanning out with 3 broad horizontal lines. Legs partly, and claws completely missing. Traces of white paint on underside. Obliquely cut top edge equal to angle ot roof. Painted decoration without parallel at Acquarossa because it covers the whole surface without filling ornaments and is fairly life-like.
