  • Remarks: Restored plaque includes 2 fragments of top torus (MPH 8.3, MPW 64.5, MPD 17.5) with incised & painted scale pattern/flat fascia/cavetto with painted tongue pattern & nail holes/roll/relief figured frieze with 2 pairs of riders/archers moving to left, in high relief/ projecting flat fascia bottom border. On left-hand pair, far rider holds reins of near horse & near archer turns to shoot backwards. On right-hand pair, both riders face forward to left, near one drawing bow. Archers wear short tunic, sleeveless. Skin of archers painted brown-red, near horses painted white, far black. On left-hand pair, horse head painted yellow with black eye, red harness. Far horse head in profile, near head turned out towards viewer. Horse necks hollow. Forelegs of horses in air (D 2.5-3.5). Torus at top thins from Th 4.7 to 1.5 at top, with rough resting surface on top.
