CAVI Comments: Ex London, Spinks. Perhaps identical with a vase from Cervetri, formerly
Depoletti, then Basseggio: Brunn, no. 1; AZ 1885, 250; Hoppin (1924), no. 80.
This was signed, but the signature was missing in the Spinks vase even before it
was destroyed by enemy action in World War II. Frs. are at Reading.
