CAVI Lemma: RF cup. Oltos. Last quarter sixth. 520-510. Still early (Beazley).
CAVI Subject: Int.: a young komast. Ext.: plain.
CAVI Inscriptions: Along the top, facing in and centered on the youth: Τλεσον hο νυπ
v.(ρ)οπ(ε)(π)οιεσε(ν).
CAVI Comments: The reading is done after an old dr. among photos. once belonging to Beazley.
ARV[2] gives: Τλεσοννυν(λ)(λ) εοεποιεσεν, the two "lambda's" = Attic lambda
turned 180 degrees, thus pointing to the left. I think the letters following
Τλεσον are intended for hο Nεαρ[χ]ο. I suspect that the signature is not
genuine, although Beazley in JHS says that this may be the LM artist, showing
that he survived to this time. Attic alphabet and miswritten letters.
