  • Remarks: Large torus with painted scale pattern/flat fascia with painted bands of purple-red (H .7), white (H 1.1)/concave tongues outlined in black, painted alternately white/br/ownblue/red/white/black/; narrow fascia painted with squares red/white/black/white/red. Very high relief, blue ground, 3 pairs of armed riders to left. Front horse of central pair has head turned 2/3 out towards viewer; horses wear chest bell with fringe. Crestings of helmets overlap fascia above. Near warrior carries shield, far one a raised spear. At bottom, projecting fascia painted white with black & red squares, continuing on soffit obliquely. Nail holes in strigil & frieze
