CAVI Comments: = GR 38.1864. - The signatures are in very tiny BG letters on opposite sides,
the first perhaps under A, the second under B(?). For the question of
attribution, see ABV and AttScr (1990), 51-52. Threatte (1980), 328 notes that
this is the only signature of Hischylos where iota is omitted in εποεσεν. - Rho
perhaps with the vertical extending above the loop. If the rho is correctly
rendered, the writing should be Sakonides', although Beazley does not attribute
the vase to the same hand as other signed vases. - To judge by the good, but
small, photos. in Cohen, both signatures are by one hand - that of Sakonides?
