  • Remarks: Large piece from bottom of lateral sima with jaw of feline waterspout attached at right break, main flat fascia with painted white feline (W 13.4) in profile to right with head turned back to left, on flat plaque below concave tongues. Finished left edge with part of cutout opening for insertion of antefix, with scar from broken element below. Soffit painted brown with white stripe at front edge & diagonal band near break. Found in excavations around the Temple of Castor & Pollux, but probably originally belonging to Regia IV
