Remarks: Antefix with 2 nude male figures mounted on flat plaque (Th 2.2-2.4), one in foreground moving to right, one in far ground moving to left, vigorously modelled & muscular, with mantle thrown over advanced right thigh of far figure, tip of mantle on plaque between crossing legs of figures, & possibly more drapery fluttering behind; below, wide base projecting D 6.8 cm from plaque. Openings in plaque behind outermost knees. Torso of front figure hollow, but legs appear solid. Projecting knob at right end below foot (D 4.2). Handmade. Semicylindrical cover tile attached to back, with bottom of cover tile & plaque crudely finished with finger marks. Back of plaque & inside of leg top show parallel finger striations.
