CAVI Inscriptions: A: above a fluting satyr: Μιμας. Above a maenad listening to him: Πολυνικα.
Above a satyr pouring wine from an amphora into a large calyx krater:
Ο[ι]νοπιον. Above the krater: Αλκιμαχος | καλος{2}. Above Dionysus' head (he
dips his vessel into the krater): Διονυσος{3}. Above the maenad at right:
Μαινα[ς]. Above a doe: Αξιο[πειθ]ης | καλος{2}. Matheson has an extra καλος, for
which there is no human name available.
CAVI Footnotes: {1} a lug krater. {2} CVA gives this in one line, but it must be in two; I do
not know if it is stoich. {3} Διον[...]σος, Matheson.

Axiopeithes see Matheson 83. She misprints Πολνικα. Mixed alphabet: Ionic
