Pease says that the scene is unclear (a pursuit?), with perhaps two figures involved. {4} Pease rightly states that the position next to the handle means that we have a name (Επ[ικτετος ...] or Επ[ιλυκος ...]) and not επ[οιεσεν]. ARV[2] lists this under fragmentary signatures without restoration.
