CAVI Lemma: Fr. of RF cup{1}. Pioneer Group{2}. Last quarter sixth. 510-500.
CAVI Subject: Int.: shanks and left foot of a deity seated on a lion-paw stool. A: a small
bird flying, then shanks and foot of a woman hastening to left, then two feet.
CAVI Inscriptions: Int.: in the reserved exergue: [---]ς εγρ̣[αφσεν]{3}.
CAVI Footnotes: {1} very large: a parade cup. {2} Beazley: recalls Euthymides, the Sosias
Painter and [Acr. ii, 176+] of Euphronios (his latest cup). {3} Beazley says
that the letter preceding the sigma does not seem to have been omicron; the
photo shows no trace but a bit of an empty space following the break: the
spacing must have been uneven, in which case any letter could be supplied.
CAVI Comments: Neat letters.
