CAVI Lemma: Fr. of BF epinetron. Sappho Painter. First quarter fifth. Ca. 500-490
(GMusJ).
CAVI Subject: The front part of a chariot remains.
CAVI Inscriptions: Behind the horses' heads: [κα]λ[ο]ς.
CAVI Comments: Ex Bareiss collection. GMusJ thinks this is the remains of a
kalos-inscription. I suspect this is a fr. to be added to Malibu S.80.AE.112,
which is listed with the number Bareiss 152 in the Bareiss cat. 73/74 (not
ill.).
CAVI Number: 5031
