CAVI Inscriptions: Int.: on the flute case, in thick BG letters with ragged edges: Αγυρ[ρ]ιος, retr., but the individual letters facing left to right.
CAVI Comments: False: as M. Robertson showed me, this is a forgery made by scraping out the black spots of the skin of the flute case, which represent leopard skin. Agyrrhios: see PA 179, J.K. Davies (1971), 278-79, and LGPN ii.
