Remarks: Restored at top: fragment of deep torus above flat fascia and cavetto, with well-preserved paint including, on torus, 4 rows of incised scale pattern with diagonal bands of scales (W scale 3.1, plus outline 3.8); on flat fascia, oblique black band (W 4); on cavetto, painted tongue pattern with alternating black tongues with white outline/white with black outline/red with black outlines (W tongue 3.7, + outline 4.4). Restored below cavetto: fragment of relief figured frieze below roll, with pair of riders moving to left, near rider turning backwards & drawing bow against pursuing pair, far rider's face in 3/4 view & left hand grasping rein of near horse. Riders' heads overlap roll.

Near rider has brown 7.5YR 5/6 tunic & red-brown 10R 4/6 skin, black bow. Far rider may have yellow tunic & red-brown skin. Scales painted white with black outline/red 2.5YR 3/4 with black outline/cream 10YR 6/4 with brown outline/black with white outline/white 10YR 7/4 with black outline; on cavetto, alternating black/white/red tongues with black outlines
