Remarks: Juno Sospita head antefix. Tall, curved plaque, smooth at top. Head wears helmet with horns and animal ears with flat band behind. Plaque has flat back. Th plaque 1.9. Oval strut from top of tile to base of plaque. Strut begins 3 cm from top edge of plaque. All proveniences are unsubstantiated in Louvre, except for recent attributions to Tuscania.

Paint: Brick-red "painted wings" on side of plaque, edge of mid-helmet, lower locks of hair, top of base with 2 upper red squares 7.5R 4/6. Black horns, animal ear edges, squares on flat band around helmet, wavy curls on helmet, eyes (brows, lids, pupils), alternating dots on necklace, bottom band and 2 lower squares on base. Lower front of helmet gold 7.5YR 5/4. Cream slip 10YR 6/3.
