The last king of Troy, son of Laomedon. He had 17 (or 19) children by his second wife Hecuba/Hekabe (including Hektor, Paris, Troilos) and up to 50 by various concubines. At the Sack of Troy he was killed by Neoptolemos, at an altar. He often appears watching various Trojan scenes, and before Achilles begging for the return of Hektor's body.
