Agias

Lysippan Agias from the Daochos dedication at Delphi, before 332 BC. Delphi Museum 369 Ht. 2.0m.5th-century BC king in Thessaly. A dynastic statue group (lost) set up in his capital, Pharsalos and signed by the late 4th-century sculptor Lysippos, included Agias. It is thought that the Agias figure in a similar group at Delphi (344/3 BC), dedicated by Daochos, may copy this, and it is in what is generally regarded as a 'Lysippan' style, resembling his Apoxyomenos.
