We will be meeting at 2pm in the Beazley Archive study room on the third floor of the Classics Centre. We will have three lectures:
Professor Véronique Dasen (University of Fribourg): Omphale and the fabric of myth in Roman Glyptic
Fabio Spadini: (University of Fribourg) Earth on Heaven: Astrological Gems.
Miriam Napolitano (Università degli Studi di Cagliari): Gem impressions by Filippo Nissardi (Classical and post-classical gems).
Followed by a discussion, coffee and cake!
