Remarks: Openwork floral acroterion with central 9-leaf palmette in relief, with alternating shorter round leaves & longer, pointed leaves, radiating from deeply projecting heart (H 11.7, MPW 12.5), above double volute (RH 35.2) & surrounded by wide concave band (W 3) with pointed projections beyond tips of leaves. Handmade berry cluster at base of palmette heart with tendrils below. Several nail holes in bottom third: therefore plaque part with double volutes was attached to ridge beam, with openwork area above. Nail hole at bottom break. Back flat, painted = to front in red with long black stripes for leaves
