H floral field 13.6. H recessed border 3.4, W 20. Curved cover tile attached to bottom of plaque back, H 15.9, W 20.4, Th 4.5. Back of plaque fairly flat and smoothed, with brown painted band around cover tile. Narrow diagonal bands on rounded moulding W 1.6. Piece bought from P. Arndt.

Paint: Beige slip on surface (10YR 7/4), over which black and red are painted. Black: outline of alternating tongues (1st, 3rd, etc.), narrow diagonal bands on rounded moulding, outline of alternating leaves of palmette (1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th), arrows on base (3rd, 7th, 11th). Red-brown: outline of alternating tongues (2nd, 4th) narrow diagonal bands on rounded moulding, background behind floral motif, arc, outline of 2nd, 4th, 6th leaves, 2nd stripe on base top (below cream stripe), arrows on base (2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th) 10R 4/4.
Condition: Complete example except for chips from top tongue and 2 tongues on right, missing cover tile.
