  • Remarks: Gorgoneion antefix with strigil shell frame. L tile 70, + plaque 75, + semicircular flange 82. All strigils slightly different widths. Semicircular flange at back edge of cover tile. In lower right edge of tile, 15.5 cm from base of antefix, is cutout square (W. 4.5, H 5) to receive projection from edge of underlying flat eaves tile. Strut curving inwards. In end of strut, nail hole which pierces tile. Head hollowed behind, with opening for mouth and holes for nostrils.

Red alternating tongue centers and top edges, alternating snakes(?), horizontal stripe on top of base. Cream slip on skin, eyeballs, raised encircling band, strigil raised edges, dots on snakes.
