  • Remarks: Antefix plaque with head of Silen in relief, balding at temples, with heavy ridges across forehead, large round eyes, short pug nose, moustache and flat beard with painted white wavy lines. Surrounding head is torus with painted diagonal bands in red & white, ending in volute with round eye, inside outer shell frame of concave tongues, painted alternatedly red/black/red with cream outlines. Across bottom, projecting flat border with painted meander, with red-brown band across top with pendent hooks & black band across bottom with upright hooks. On back, part of curved cover tile
