Remarks: Fragment of handmade female right foot in boot, on part of plinth (H 5, MPW 8), painted brown. Foot touches plinth below forefoot, with raised back of foot, roughly finished on underside. Figure was walking with left foot forward, meant to be seen moving to right. Burned on left side. Belongs with TC 3973 with = painted decoration on outside of boot of row of 3-dot clusters. Pink stripes from both sides meet in front to form outward curling volutes below curved row of dots. Half of vertical hold (Diam 2) at break in back of foot. From Sermoneta Collection
