  • Remarks: Revetment plaque of Type II A. Complete height. Small portion of flange to right. Bottom, upper, rounded right edges preserved. 4 nail holes preserved, Diam 0.4-0.6, probably bored from underside. Horizontal element at top has curved contour. Back and underside slipped and top of horizontal unslipped. Painted decoration: ca. 2.5 cm below upper edge, horizontal band, W ca 1, in curve towards flange, traces of a vertical band. Main motive: frieze of birds, facing right. 2 birds almost completely preserved. Between the birds, two slightly waving, almost vertical lines. Between the horizontal band and upper edge, slight traces of a possible thin tongue pattern with red strigils outlined in white.
