Remarks: Fragment of semicylindrical cover tile with curved side edge matching curve of ridge tiles R64.170 & R64.337. Finished short end also curved, resembling flange. Near break at top, scored area (MPW 7) surrounded by added clay from detached element, probably a horn acroterion with rounded form (R64.256, R64. 257, R64.269). Red clay similar to fabric of earliest tiles from Cerveteri & Satricum: reused on third-phase building.
