Remarks: Orange-red slip on front & back, overpainted on front with head of bearded snake with open mouth, in profile facing right, painted white with black outlines & inner details. Beginning of cavetto at top, & thickening of plaque back at bottom break suggest that piece is part of a raking sima. Excavated in fill of cavity to SE of habitation area.
