  • Remarks: Full-figure antefix of Silen and Maenad. Th plaque 4. Back hollowed behind both torsos, smoothly finished. Large vertical strut scar between torsos. Bottom of strut 28.5 cm above bottom of piece. Cover tile very low and small. Maenad and Silen heads in round. Maenad: H head 6.1, Dist outer eyes 4.1, L nose 1.9, W nose 1.5, W mouth 1.8; Silen: H hairline-beard tip 10.5, hairline-mouth 6, Dist outer eyes 3.78, L nose 1.3, W nose 1.6(?), W mouth 2.2. Possible prototype from Olympia (Fullerton 1982).

Brown Silen body 7.5YR 6/4. Red folds of chiton top.
